Upcoming 2010 Events

Posted on Jan 1, 2010

First, best wishes for a very Happy New Year and a terrific 2010 to all friends and colleagues. The year is already shaping up to be a busy one, with a number of speaking appearances on the horizon.

On January 25, I’ll be speaking at the Temple University College of Science and Technology as part of their colloquium series. The talk will roughly cover ongoing and emerging trends in Web and digital accessibility, with enough technical content to keep things well grounded.

On February 7, I’m very much looking forward to my session at the IxDA Interaction 10 conference in Savannah. I’ll be discussing the use of virtual worlds among people with disabilities, an update of my RNIB Techshare 2009 talk in London. There are many terrific sessions covering a wide range of interests, and I personally can’t wait to connect with everyone while I’m there.

On March 24, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be speaking at the CSUN 25th Annual International Technology & Persons with Disabilities Conference in San Diego. I was fortunate to attend last year’s event, and the experience certainly shaped my understanding of accessible technology. If you’re going to CSUN, I highly recommend attending the sessions provided by some of my favorite colleagues:

CSUN 2010 is going to be great. Don’t miss this one.

All dates and events are subject to change, so please watch this space for any updates. Soon to be (hopefully) confirmed are appearances in Europe and across the U.S. Current developments can also be found at on the Anikto Facebook and Twitter pages.
